1 cup of sugar (160 grams)

1 coffee spoon of vanilla essence (optional)

 1 pinch of salt

 cinnamon powder

How to Make Traditional Green Corn Porridge:

Beat the corn with milk in a blender until cream is as smooth as possible. Pour this preparation into a pan, placed on top of a pan, and press well, to filter the bagasse and obtain only the juice.

Add sugar, salt and, if desired, vanilla essence. Cook corn porridge over medium heat until bubbling, then lower the heat and stir for 10 minutes or until more solid. When turning a cream, turn off the heat.

Place the traditional green corn porridge in an ovenproof dish or in individual bowls. Set aside in refrigerator for 1-2 hours, to set and stay chilled, and serve sprinkled with powdered cinnamon. Enjoy your food!
